Boarding Services and Requirements
We provide pet boarding as a service to our clients, but reservations are required. For the health and safety of all our pet guests, specific vaccinations and screening tests must be completed, by a licensed veternarian, prior to boarding, before reservations are confirmed.
Please inquire and our staff will be glad to explain the health requirements to you. All boarders receive personal attention from our caring staff. Pets may be dropped off and picked up during regular business hours Monday through Saturday. We also offer pre-arranged only pick-up on Sundays at 4:00 p.m. by appointment.
The boarding requirements are listed below:
BOARDING POLICIES
DOGS
· Must be at least 4 months of age and have completed all puppy vaccinations before boarding will be permitted.
· Must have a negative heartworm test within the past 12 months.
· Must have a current Distemper combination (DHLPP) , and Bordetella vaccination within the past 12 months.
· Must have had a negative fecal exam in the past 12 months.
· Must have a current Rabies vaccination within the past 12 months or 3 years,
whichever is applicable.
· Must be free of fleas and ticks, or pet will be treated upon admission at the owner’s
expense (Owner will be charged for one day of isolation boarding, bath, and flea/tick treatment as deemed appropriate by staff or veterinarian.)
CATS
· Must be at least 4 months of age and have completed all kitten vaccinations before boarding will be permitted.
· Must have a negative FELV/FIV test.
· Must have a current FVRCPC (Distemper) vaccination within the past 12 months.
· Must have had a negative fecal exam in the past 12 months.
· Must have a current Rabies vaccination within the past 12 months or 3 years,
whichever is applicable.
· Must be free of fleas and ticks, or pet will be treated upon admission at the owner’s
expense (Owner will be charged for one day of isolation boarding, bath, and flea/tick treatment as deemed appropriate by staff or veterinarian.)
Day of departure -- If pet is picked up before noon, you will not be charged for that day. If pet is picked up after noon, you will be charged for that day.
Payment Policy – Boarding and treatments/services requested during boarding will need to be prepaid when pet is dropped off. Adjustments will be made at time of pickup for over/under payment due to a change in scheduled pick up or for treatment required during boarding.
All boarders must have proof of meeting the boarding policies prior to making a reservation.
