Frederick Veterinary Center, is a full service AAHA Accredited Companion Animal Hospital located in Frederick, Maryland.
At Frederick Veterinary Center we strive to offer not only sound advice, but also optimal veterinary care, thus allowing you the enjoyment of your companion for a maximum number of years. Our job is not only to treat your pet when he or she isn’t feeling well, but also to help you learn how to keep your best friend happy and healthy!

Dr. Gendi
D.V.M.
Dr. Gendi has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2005. He and his family moved to Maryland in 2010 and he joined Frederick Veterinary Center in 2023. Dr. Gendi treats all four-legged family members as if they were his own. His compassion underscores why he is part of the healing community. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, he seeks to reduce stress, anxiety, and fear in your pets and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care.

Dr. Milad
D.V.M.
Dr. Gendi has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2005. He and his family moved to Maryland in 2010 and he joined Frederick Veterinary Center in 2023.
Dr. Gendi treats all four-legged family members as if they were his own. His compassion underscores why he is part of the healing community. As a Fear Free Certified veterinarian, he seeks to reduce stress, anxiety, and fear in your pets and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care. Because the hospital is fully equipped with the latest medical technology, he is ready to meet the entire spectrum of your pets’ needs including preventative care, pain management, dentistry and surgeries.

When he is not at the clinic providing compassionate care for animals, Dr. Gendi is enjoying the gift of his beautiful family – his wife, Mary, and their children, Jeremiah and Gianna.

Dr. Flynn
D.V.M.
Dr. John Flynn has been practicing at Frederick Veterinary Center LLC for over 25 years. He received his D.V.M. degree from Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Before coming to Frederick, Dr. Flynn was in rural mixed veterinary practice in Tranquility, New Jersey and then in Large Animal practice in Union Springs, Upstate New York.

Dr. John

Dr. John Flynn has been practicing at Frederick Veterinary Center LLC for over 25 years. He received his D.V.M. degree from Ontario Veterinary College in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Before coming to Frederick, Dr. Flynn was in rural mixed veterinary practice in Tranquility, New Jersey and then in Large Animal practice in Union Springs, Upstate New York.
He is a member of the AVMA, Maryland VMA, American Animal Hospital Association, and Western Maryland VMA. His special interests in veterinary practice include the human-animal bond, preventive medicine, and veterinary public health issues. Dr. Flynn lives in Frederick with his wife Barbara and their cat Pushkin. After completing college, their daughters Jessica and Meredith live in Washington, D.C. and Jacksonville, Florida respectively.
Dr. Flynn’s outside interests include forestry, history, agriculture, environmental issues and reading. Frederick Veterinary Center LLC is an AAHA Accredited Veterinary Hospital and was the recipient of a 2014 Frederick County Waste Reduction and Recycling Award. A big fan of downtown Frederick and also of rural life in Frederick County, you may find him each year as a veterinary volunteer at the Great Frederick Fair Birthing Center.

Nikki
Practice Manager
Nikki joined the FVC team in September 2022 as an Administrative Assistant. She was born and raised in Maryland but has also lived in Wyoming and California. Nikki loves spending time with her dog, Harley, and friends & family. When she’s not at work she enjoys crafting and sampling new food from local restaurants.

Julianna
Receptionist
Julianna joined the FVC team in March 2023 as a Receptionist. She was born and raised in Maryland but currently resides in West Virginia. She graduated from Blue Ridge Community and Technical College in August 2021 with her Associate’s Degree. When she is not working, she likes reading, hiking, and spending time with friends/family.

Alex
Veterinary Technician
Alex joined the FVC team in April 2023 as a Veterinary Technician. She was born and raised in Maryland. Alex recently completed her B.S. in biology and she plans to further her studies in Veterinary medicine in several years. Alex is very passionate about working with animals. When she is not at work Alex enjoys spending time with friends and family and her dog, Blue and hiking.

Logan
Veterinary assistant
Logan joined the FVC team in May 2023 as a Vet Assistant. She was born and raised in Maryland. She is a Senior and a Biology major with a focus to pursue a career in Veterinary Medicine at Lincoln University of Pennsylvania. She has always had a passion to work with animals ever since she was in middle school. She is determined to graduate Magna Cum Lade with a 3.7 GPA. When she is not at work, she likes to travel, cook/bake, listen to music and spend time with family and friends.

Nicholas
Veterinary Assistant/Kennel assistant
Nick joined the FVC team in July 2022 as a Veterinary Assistant/Kennel Technician. He has lived in Maryland all his life and has taken care of his cat Mittens for 7 years. He has aspired to work with animals from a very young age and is currently enrolled in Frederick Community College. Nick spends his free time with friends, staying in shape and working on his computer.
